We are a five piece band driving with two guitarists, bass, percussion, vocals and a flute. Ocassionally Horns and the unique sound of the guiro will arrive from time to time.
The band name was inspired by the idea of standing out and being unique while detaching from the day-to-day doldrums. Music lifts the soul and allows you to momentarily detach. Isn't everyone breaking away from something?

We have very experienced musicians bringing many styles of music to the mix. We primarily insert tunes that keep you moving or keep you engaged depending on the venue. We blend genres from country, to rock, to blues and little bit of jazz along with originals.
