Our Story
The Breakaway Band is assembled from musicians, with decades of experience, breaking away and settling in the Daytona Beach area. Each member brings different styles of music into the song catalog allowing different sets for each occasion.
Our Music
Our music is a blend of rock, pop, country and blues influences. We work to mash up tunes that tell a story, keep the fun going and engage the audience. Each set is tailored to remind the listener of that time when there wasn't a care in the world. It was just me and my radio or just me an my turntable with songs that didn't make it to the radio. We know the show was successful when the melody sticks in the head long after the show. Each new gig has a few new songs always keeping it new experimenting with the time shift into the past.
